STEM Program

When you program, or code, you provide instructions for the computer to follow. Many programmers write code in text, meaning that they type it out on the keyboard. With the Scratch language, you code using blocks that snap together like puzzle pieces. With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations and share your creations with others in the Scratch online community.

Mobile & Computer IT Support Services

Have you gotten a mobile device, ipad, or tablet and need help setting it up? Are you having problems with your existing device and need help? Have you backed up your photos, music or contacts? We understand your busy work schedule. And who can keep up with the kids’ school and after-school programs?

For your convenience, we come to your home, business or assisted living facilities. We also offer appointments for evening weekends and store visits. Yes, that’s right! We will even meet you at the store and walk you through different devices, to help guide you to the right device for you. Not the device the salesperson is pitching for the month.

About Us

Our mission here at Teach Me Tech 411 is to help children and adults develop technical skills for the future. We want to help prepare them for that future by getting them excited about where computer science can take them.

To encourage long-term interest in tech, it’s important to reach kids early, but too often exposure to STEM curriculum in primary or high school is not always available or accessible. In the rush to embrace everything digital, many ed-tech companies forgot that people, not robots, are the end users. Therefore, our STEM program is mobile. We come to you at a time that’s convenient for you. We need that human connection that comes from talking together.

What is computer science? Computer science is a 21st-century skill that enables children and adults to be creators, rather than just consumers of technology. One of the most basic, universal goals of teaching is to help our children grow and become better learners. We have a focus on developing collaboration skills among our students.

Jobs in technology are among the fastest growing in the U.S. and yet far too many people can’t get a career in technology or think that a technology company like Google is out of reach. It is our goal to engage with aspiring technologists early and often ensuring that anyone can see themselves in tech and can make that future a reality.
